"'Tuesday Nine One One'
IN LIGHT OF THE WORLD TRADE CENTER TRAGEDY"

"I wrote this song as I watched the devastating attack on The United States unfold on TV in the late morning of September 11th 2001. By September 13th, I could smell the acrid smoke from the WTC wafting thru my section of Throgs NeckThe Bronx. I’ve been sick in my heart ever since. This song is what I offer right now. Maybe it will help you alleviate some of the swirling emotions you might feel like it helped me when I wrote it and it helped my fellow Bronx musicians perform it.

B.O.S.S-Bronx Organization of Singer/Songwriters performs the song and features Flip Hernandez (2nd verse) best known for singing the regional hit “Yankee Mambo”. Flip sings lead in a Red Hot Chili Peppers cover band called Funky Monks. Sal Scoca sings the 3rd verse. He is in a band called Pinwheel that just may be one of the best in The Bronx. The achievements of Pinwheel are too numerous too mention here. Chris Hendon (4th verse) was for years the lead singer in popular Bronx band Red Vianna and is working on solo projects now. Thats me on the first verse and we trade off at the end. All of them are passionate songwriters themselves.... Download the song and spread it around. It’s for you. Just like the USA, its free."
